FREE TEL AVIV TRIO |
| |
Flute- Yael Acher
Clarinet- Harold Rubin
Piano- Daniel Sarid
Tel Aviv is a dynamic urban zone, with a chaotic burning
pulse, and a divers beauty.
The Free Form Jazz (avant grade, experimental, contemporary
Jazz) has naturally claimed its existence there. The scene
is flourishing, and attracts much interest. Its base stage,
Hagada Hasmalit (= The West Bank), is a melting pot for many
creative musicians and composers, who perform in different
formations.
Harold Rubin, who is one of the
founders of Hagada Hasmalit, is also a brilliant painter and
architect.
Daniel Sarid joined the scene when
returning from a long period of residence in NYC, were he
was active in the music scene.
Yael Acher, who comes originally
from Tel Aviv, has been playing with Rubin for many years,
in Tel Aviv and Copenhagen.
She joins in at the Hagada Hasmalit, when visiting in TA,
and that is how FREE TEL AVIV TRIO was formed. |
